Vertex standard programming issue

I have a vertex standard VX6000 that I want to program to new frequencies. I have the proper cabling and software from the manufacture, CT70 and CE49. When I try to upload from the radio the software states “turn radio off and back on to start upload”. I do this and it always comes back with “turn radio on” after I already have. I also did this holing the power and function button under the power button to go to the “pc clone” condition with same results.

adjust squelch level on Kenwood TK-762GH (howto?)

Greetings,

I have a Kenwood TK-762GH as a component of an APRS iGate, as well as the operating and service manuals for the radio.

Is there some way to adjust the Rx squelch level, please? The green led is constantly on, and audio is a constant noise. I would like to be able to adjust the Rx squelch level, but don't yet know my way through the buttons-menu to adjust it. The operator's manual doesn't seem to address the matter, so your help is much appreciated.

Is vertex VX-2100 roger beep capable?

I know the roger beep thing is related to CB but I would like to have my VX-2100 to transmit a tone after the PTT is released.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Vertex VX-2200 receive only channels

I recently purchased a Vertex VX-2200 and I am using CE softwareto program it. I am wanting to put in my local NOAA freq but I want to prohibit TX for obvious reasons. Is there an option to do this? I tried leaving the TX freq. blank and that didn't work, I tried entering 000.000 etc but get the out of freq. range.

Can those pins (or some other pins in the same connector) be used to program the radio or do I have to use the RJ45 connector in the front?

Kenwood TK-840 programming

Hi! I have a Kenwood TK-840 but I don't know what frequencies it has configured on each channel.
How can i see this information? Is it difficult to modify the channel settings?
