hi i would like to know if i can program a vertex ftl-2011 radio.
I need to use a model C in the ham radio range, in my case from 144 to 148 Mhz.
The C model starts from 148 MHz so it does not work for me.
Any ideas or experiences?
The short answer is yes, the software will allow you to program the radio outside the frequency range it was designed for.
The problem is that the radio will not perform as expected without modifying the hardware.
Unless you know what you are doing, I would recommend to take the radio to a technician to perform this modification.
Agree with the previous response. The software allows you to program the radio out of the specified band but it won't perform at all
