bought a baofeng programming cable which worked perfectly on windows 7. Now, on Windows 10, I cannot use it because the driver it's phased out.
What's wrong? How can I fix this?
seems that your cable was built using a counterfeit chip. That's the reason why you are seeing the message.
options are buying a new cable with a real chip or following the instructions found here
@nsolop Followed the instructions from the video and no luck.
Tried removing and reinstalling the driver with the same results. Phased out driver message still there.
Any other idea? Please help.
I would suggest to get a new cable. If you are going to invest on that again, please read this review of the 8 in 1 programming cable before buying anything.
